Waukon, Ia.- Lloyd Godfrey, 73, of Minneapolis, Minn., and formerly of Waukon, died Monday at his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bakke-Hanson Funeral Home at Waukon, where friends may call. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Godfrey had been a policeman in Waukon for many years before moving to Minneapolis.

Surviving are his wife, Nellie; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary Frances) Grider, and a son, Gary, both of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. LeRoy (Mae) Gladson of Des Moines, Ia.
