MIKOTA, SCHULER, KNOBLE, SENEY

Strawberry Point, Ia., Feb. 5 - The remains of Mrs. J.F. Mikota, of Cedar Rapids, were brought here Monday morning. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church, conducted by Rev. J. Bowen. Interment took place in a local cemetery.

The death of Mrs. Mikota, aged 65 years, occurred last Friday afternoon at her home in Cedar Rapids, after a short illness. She was born at Postville, where she was married to J.F. Mikota in 1899.

For a while Mr. and Mrs. Mikota made their home at Strawberry Point, where they resided for a number of year. They moved to Cedar Rapids 17 years ago, which has since been their home. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception church at Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters and three sons - Mrs. Emma Knoble, of Savanna, Ill. and Mrs. Alice Seney, of Cedar Rapids; Alfred A. Mikota and Leonard Mikota, of Cedar Rapids, and Archie Mikota, of Minneapolis; also four grandchildren. One son, Clarence Mikota, preceded her hin death in 1913. She also leaves one sister, Miss Christina Schuler, of Marengo, and two brothers, Andrew J. Schuler, of Postville, and Ray Schuler, of Cedar Rapids.
