Infant DENNIS JAMES JAHNKE 1959

Dennis James Jahnke, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Jahnke, was born 21, 1959 in Waukon. He was baptized on June 5, 1959 at the Waukon Hospital. He died on July 2, 1959 after a brief illness, from which there was no hope of recovering.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Peter Olson of Waukon.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Jahnke; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jahnke of Postville; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Olson of Waukon; one brother, David, age 2; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Postville, on Sunday, July 5, at 2:00. Burial was in the Postville cemetery with The Rev. Charles E. Witt, officiating.
