Waukon, Ia. - Services for Martin Meehan, 72, were held Tuesday from Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Paint Rock.

Mr. Meehan died Saturday in a local hospital, where he had been a patient several months. Born in 1885 at Clayton, he married Stella Phelan, who preceded him. Several years ago, he married Winifred Dowdal of Wexford.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Cyril Wiedner; a step-son, Emmet Dowdal, Winona, Minn.; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. George Warzinik, Stevens Point, Wis.
