Services will be held Thursday for Mrs. Gilman Hanson, who died at her home Monday.
Nee Annette Bakkum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Bakkum, pioneer settlers of Center township, she was born July 22, 1887. On Aug. 28, 1917, she was wedded to Gilman Hanson at the Old West Paint creek church. Three daughters were born to them, Arleen, Harriet and Florence, who with their father and adopted sister, Esther, survive, with her aged mother, two sisters and a brother, Mrs. J. O. Johnson and Eilert Babbum, (sic) Center township and Mrs. Hjalmar Swain, Paint Creek.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Kjorlaug. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
