Rick R. Darling, 50, formerly of New Albin, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994, at his home in Waukon.

He was born May 14, 1944, in New Albin, to Melvin and Mildred (Henry) Darling. Rick served in the U.S. Navy and worked on automobiles in New Albin for many years.

Surviving are three brothers and their wives, Jack and Patricia Darling of La Crosse, WI, and Alvin and Vera Darling and Gerald and Karen Darling, all of New Albin; and four sisters and their husbands, Rita and Larry Lager of Davie, FL, and Carol and Donald Weber, Mary and Leland Lankford and Kathy and Lyle Goetzinger, all of New Albin.

His parents preceded him in death.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Nov., 12, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, was in charge of arrangements.
