Mrs. William M. (Lois) Freilinger, 70, New Albin, died Saturday, Nov 26, in a La Crosse, WI, hospital.

She was born March 7, 1907, at Platteville, WI, to Ora and Lillian (Cumming) Burns. On Nov 24, 1953, she married William M. Freilinger at Winona, MN.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Laverne of West Allis, WI; two daughters, .Bernie (Betty) Hopkins of Omaha, NE, and Mrs. Owen (Carol) Thorson of New Albin; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs Paul (Lola) Treichel of St. Paul, MN.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in United Brethren Church, Castalia, with the Rev. Curtis H. Webster officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Castalia.

Friends may call at the New Albin Town House after 3 p.m. today where a prayer service will be at 8:30 p.m.

Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
