Robert Arndt, aged 71, died suddenly at his home about five miles north of New Albin, Friday, May 20. (Jefferson Township, Houston County, Minnesota)

He was born in Stargardt (Stuttgart?), Germany, and came to this country with his parents at the age of two.

He received his education in the county schools and followed the occupation of farming.

He is survived by his wife (Elizabeth Heiller); four sons; eight daughters; one sister, Mrs. Mathilda Weymiller; and 19 grandchildren.

Deceased was a good father, and a kind and helping neighbor, who will be missed in the home and community circles.

He was buried Monday, May 23, in the New Albin cemetery, Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. at his late home, and at 1:30 at St. Peter's Evangelical Church, Rev. E.J. Florin officiating.

Casket bearers were John Schuldt, William Schuldt, Robert Richards, Peter Richards, Otto Luttchens, and G.H. Welper.
