Ben Pohlman, 91, died Friday, Nov. 21, at his home in New Albin after a brief illness.

He was born June 1, 1878, near Eitzen, MN, to Mr. and Mrs. William Pohlman, and he married Clara Neumann on Oct. 16, 1907. They farmed in Jefferson. (Houston County, MN)

He is survived by his widow; two sons, Versell and Melvin of New Albin; three daughters, Mrs. Thoedore Kruse of New Albin, Mrs. Albert Diersen of Eitzen, and Mrs. Rueben Skadsen of Anchorage, AK; two brothers, William of Caledonia, MN, and Edward of La Crosse, WI; two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Becker of Lake Zurich, IL, and Mrs. Mary Heitman of New Albin; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Caledonia, the Rev. Cyrill Swere of Eitzen officiating, assisted by the Rev. Marvin Doelger, new pastor of St. John's Church.

Friends may call at the Potter-Haugen Funeral Home in Caledonia Sunday afternoon and evening, and at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the services.
