Norman A. Wiemerslage, 67, of Route 2, New Albin, died Thursday morning, July 25, 1991, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.
He was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Dorchester, to Fred and Frieda (Gade) Wiemerslage. Norman worked in road construction as a drill operator.
He is survived by his wife, Viola; two sons, Fred of New Albin, and Craig (Janelle) of Lansing; two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. James) Re of Minneapolis, MN, and Colleen (Fiance John Beomley) of Rock Island, IL; two grandsons, Christopher and Scott Re; two granddaughters, Colby and Celsy Wiemerslage; and three sisters, Erma Wenig of Dorchester, Mabel Nosbisch of New Hampton, and Edna Wiemerslage of Spring Grove, MN.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 27, at the New Albin Funeral Chapel. Father Henry Charipar officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Terry Riehm, Joe Colsch, Christopher Re, Linda Kruse, Duane Bakewell, and Don Moore.
