Berniece M. Coughlin, 80, of Wauwatosa, Wis., and formerly of New Albin, died Thursday, July 29, 1993, at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Manchester, Iowa.

She was born on March 2, 1913, in New Albin, to William and Mary (Kelly) Coughlin. She was retired from Allis Chalmers Co. in Milwaukee where she worked for many years.

She is survived by a brother, Harold Coughlin of Hokah, Minn.; two sisters, Alice Hogan of Manchester, and Gladys Coughlin of Wauwatosa; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. Father Henry Charipar will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the New Albin Funeral Chapel, and there will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home of Lansing is assisting the family.
