Heinrich Brunken was born in Berghorn, Germany, on November 18, 1910, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Brunken. At the age of 20 he came to this country aboard the vessel Stuttgart, going to the Walter Hagen home in the Waterville area.

He was preceded in death by his wife (Adalaine King), on November 20, 1958. He is survived by one brother and one sister, both of whom are living in Germany.

Funeral services were held from Burke Funeral Home and then from the United Church of Christ, New Albin, with Rev. Clyde Lee officiating. The organist was Mrs. Leo King, and the vocalist was Mrs. William Gordon Jr. The pallbearers were Sidney Blaske, Alvin Sires, William Freilinger, Robert Imhoff, Myron Krambeer, and John Crowley.
