William Lyle Crowley, 72, died Wednesday in Nashua, Iowa.

Services were held Friday afternoon at Burke Funeral Home in Lansing. Rev. J. Coats officiated. Burial was in the New Albin Cemetery with Paul Meyer, Don Easton, Frank Weymiller, August Krzbietke, and Cleon and Raymond Sires serving as casket bearers.

Mr. Crowley was born March 19, 1889 in New Albin to Mr. and Mrs. William Crowley. He married Sophia Olson in 1916, in Ironwood, Mich. She preceded him in death.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Kenneth Crowley, Alice Olson, and Winnifred Mitterreiter, all of La Crosse; Lester McCarthy, Oxford, Calif.; and Edith Smith, Brainerd, Minn.; stepchildren, Louise Danner, Esther Antonoff, Donald Evenson and Gladys Sjogren, all of Minneapolis; and Seymour Evenson, Edmonton, Canada.
