The death angel visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Pixler Thursday morning and took from it their youngest child, aged two years, death resulting from stomach trouble after an illness of but two days. The funeral was held from the family home, south of town, at one o'clock today. Interment in the Postville cemetery.- Review.

Note: The 'Woodmansee' Allamakee county cemetery book records the burial of Lester C. Pixler (1901-1903)in Area D of the Postville cemetery. Also buried in Area D are George Washington Pixler and his wife Marie Eva Pixler, who are likely the parents of Lester.
