Waukon, Ia.-Special: The funeral of George Wood, 54, will be held here Saturday afternoon at the Adventist Church with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
His death ocurred late Wednesday at his home in Makee Township, just north of Waukon, following a lingering illness.
He was born at Boscobel, Wis., on March 17, 1885, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Wood.
Surviving are his widow, the former Lulu Cummins; a daughter, Jeanette, at home; and several brothers and sisters living in Wisconsin
