MRS. LILLIAN ELLA WHITE
Mrs. Lillian Ella White, former Waterloo resident, died at 4:45 a. m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Royal C. Core, Route 1, Jesup, la., of carcinoma.
Born Sept. 22, 1884, near Platteville, Wis., she was the daughter of Samuel M. and Mary J. Cummins. She was married to Guy W. White prior to leaving Platteville.
Having received her education in Platteville, she moved to Iowa 33 years ago. She lived near Waukon and Postville, la., until 1926 when she moved to Waterloo. She remained until 5 months ago.
Mrs. White was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist church.Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Royal C. Core, Jesup, la.: Mrs. Paul Treichel, 231 Leland avenue, and Mrs. George C. Harvey, Route 1 Castalia. la.; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Woods, Sumner, la.; and Mrs. Le Roy Britian, Fredericksburg la.: four brothers, Ralph and Walter Cummins, both of Cedarville. Ill.: Everett Cummins, Cuba City. Wis., and Vernon of New Castle. Cal.
Preceding her in death were her husband and one son.
