Louis Bahr Laid To Rest Thursday Following Rites
Cleveland, —Funeral services for Louis Bahr, who passed away last Monday at his home in Cleveland, were held Thursday afternoon in the Stoltenberg Funeral chapel, the Rev. K. J. Stuebbe officiating. Burial was In the St John's Evangelical and Reformed church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Otto Retnemann, R, C. Pippert, Ed Lutze, Robert Vogel, William H. Toepel and Frank Leiteritz.
During the services Mrs. Hertha Witte and Mrs. Norma Vogel sang two selections, "Wo flnded die Seele, die Helmat die Ruh," and "Im Herrn entachlummert," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Mary Lutze. There were many beautiful floral tributes.
Attending the services from out of town were Mrs. Gus Bahr, Mrs. Elsie Wagenknecht, Mrs. Linda Michels, and Mrs. Harold Bahr, Milwaukee; Carl Bahr, Mrs. Lucy Schuler and daughter, Jane and son, Willis of Combined Locks; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kielsmeier of Kingston; Mrs. Roland Robinson, Mrs. Peter Schmitt, Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Haegler and Mrs. Emma Schuette, all of Sheboygan; Otto Bahr of Texas; Albert Bahr, Waukon, la.; Mr. and Mrs. Art Leanna, Port Washington; and others from Kohler, Manitowoc, Newton, Port Washington, Sheboygan, and surrounding communities.
