Waukon- John J. Burke, 75, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1993, in his home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hanson Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 3 and wake service at 7 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; four sisters, Mary McCormick and Gertrude Schulte, both of Waukon, Catherine Griffin of LaCresent, Minn., and Margaret Grohell of La Crosse, Wis.; and a brother, Michael of Waukon.
