Waukon- Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Church at Lycurgus for Thomas Riley, 86, pioneer Allamakee County settler, according to arrangements completed Tuesday.

The requiem mass will be celebrated by the pastor, the Rev. Thomas O'Toole, and burial will be in the family lot in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. Riley died Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Patrick Ward near Lycurgus, following a lingering illness.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Riley, early residents of French Creek Township. His entire life was spent in this county.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Hannah Laughlin.

Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. George Ward, Mrs. Pat Ward, and Austin, all of French Creek Township; and Leo of Ogallalah, Neb.
