The Telegraph Herald – October 26, 1949

Waukon, Ia. – services for Henry Quamme*, 82, who died Monday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Pete Hendrickson, will be Thursday afternoon from the Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home to St. John’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Nelson Preuss, pastor, officiating and burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

He was unmarried and was the last member of the Quamme family.
