Waukon- Relatives hereabouts have received word of the death of Otto Hagemeier, which occurred at his home in Sterling, Colo., Sunday, after a several weeks' illness. He was born five miles east of Waukon on April 2, 1862, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Hagemeier, pioneer residents of this county. On Dec. 4, 1883, he was married to Miss Mary Markward of Lansing, Ia., and a few years later went to Nebraska, and since 1916 had been engaged in the real estate business at Sterling. He is survived by his widow, three sons and one daughter, also one brother and a sister.
