Edward Reburn, 79, former New Albin resident, died Sunday, May 21, 1978, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

He was born June 25, 1898, to Thomas and Margaret (Waters) Reburn. He married Stacia Connors and they farmed a mile west of New Albin. In 1954, they moved into town.

Survivors are two sons, Joe and John, both of New Albin; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Weymiller of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Freilinger of New Albin, and Mrs. Margaret Hitchins of Waverly.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Linus Rasing officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the New Albin Town House Tuesday after 3 p.m.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
