Herman Reinke, 89, New Albin, died in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., Thursday, Oct. 13, 1977.

He was born Oct. 27, 1887, in Union City Township, to Henry and Katherine (Krueger) Reinke. He married Ella Vonderohe and they farmed in Union City Township. They retired and moved to New Albin 23 years ago where he had worked as a butcher. His wife died Oct. 18, 1975.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Lily) Wiegrefe, rural New Albin; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Services will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. John's United Church of Christ, rural New Albin. Rev. James Parker will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call in the Potter-Haugen Funeral Home, Caledonia, Minn., from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday and in the New Albin Chapel after 5 on Friday and in the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
