Roger Smith, 44, Waukon, died Sunday and funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing.

He is survived by five children: Mrs. Larry Robinson of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Lloyd (Debbie) Hillesheim, Mrs. Louis (Jane) Brundidge, Brenda Smith and Richard Smith, all of Cedar Rapids; four step-children; grandchildren; his father, Wilfred Smith; a brother, Kenneth Smith of Waukon; and a sister, Velma Mack of New Albin.

His mother, a brother, and his wife Lois, who died Sep. 15, 1974, preceded him in death.
