Mrs. Minna Jordan, 82, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1980, in the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah.

She was born Nov. 5, 1897, in New Albin to Fredrick C. and Mary (Timmerman) Meyer.

On June 18, 1924, she married Rudolph Jordan in New Albin, and they lived there all their lives.

Surviving are two sons, Sigurd of Bourbons, Ill., and Edward of New Albin; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Ellis and Mrs. Martin (Mavis) Gray, both of Marshalltown; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Paul, both of New Albin; and her sister, Mrs. Ann Pohlman, also of New Albin.

Her husband preceded her in death on June 11, 1978.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Albin. The Rev. Richard Waters will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the New Albin Funeral Chapel today from 4 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
