WOHLERS, BYER, JANNSEN, SCHOH, LUTES, HUPPERT, MOLDENHAUER

Mrs. Bertha Wohlers, 68, New Albin, died Sunday, April 19, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis.

She was born Nov. 8, 1912, in Crooked Creek, Houston County, Minn., to August and Anna (Byer) Jannsen. She married Earl W. Wohlers on June 22, 1932.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of New Albin for 24 years and also was active in the State of Iowa Retarded Association.

Survivors are three sons, Earl of Green Bay, Wis., Gary of Bloomington, Minn., and Randy of New Albin; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Annette) Schoh of New Albin, Mrs. Larry (Janice) Lutes of Lowpoint, Ill., and Mrs. David (Diane) Huppert of Glendale, Wis.; 29 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Jannsen of Phoenix, Ariz., Leonard of Caledonia, Minn., and Arthur of Houston, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Florence Moldenhauer of Reno, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Albin. The Rev. Richard Waters will officiate and burial will be in St. Peter's Memorial Cemetery, New Albin.

Friends may call at the New Albin Chapel today after 4 p.m., and at the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the services.

The Potter-Haugen Funeral Home, Caledonia, is in charge of arrangements.
