Waukon- Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon at the Irving E. Beeman home for Mrs. George Hubbell, 73, who died Monday at Philadelphia, Pa., where she had been visiting her daughter.

The Rev. R. L. Van Nice had charge of the last rites. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbell was the former Lillian Farnsworth and was born at Black River Falls, Minn., in 1863. After her marriage to Mr. Hubbell, she came to Waukon. Her husband, his brother, and their father, Levi Hubbell, organized the Oak Leaf Creamery here, the first of its kind in Waukon.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubbell lived in Waukon for 25 years, then moving to St. Paul where they since lived. Mr. Hubbell died in 1933.

She is survived by one son, Harold of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Nellie of Philadelphia; and one sister, Nellie Farnsworth of Los Angeles, Calif.
