Daniel M. Danielson, infant son of Tony Danielson and Dana Douglass of New Albin, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., while waiting for a heart transplant. He was six weeks, five days old. Funeral services were held Monday, October 25 at Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon with James Olsen officiating.

Daniel Michael was born September 2, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. He was baptized September 7, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Daniel is survived by his parents; two siblings, Kamen Durnin and Signe Danielson of New Albin; his grandparents, Dianne Johnson and Walter Larson, both of Dorchester, and Jerry and Betty Danielson of Caledonia; great-grandparents Viola "Susie" Rosendahl and Elinor "Jeanne" McKee, both of Waukon; aunt and uncle Lori and Doug Lampert of La Crescent, Minn., and uncle Scott Danielson of Hokah; as well as six cousins, Abby, Emily, Tyler, Kyle, Jory, and Danielle.

He was preceded in death by a sibling, Faron Rae; a grandfather, Michael Douglass; and an uncle, Daniel M. Douglass.
