Waukon - George L. Gelo, 81, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1994, in Veterans Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Martin Funeral Home, by Monsignor Ed Lechtenberg. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Francis of Key West, Fla; two daughters, Janet Kostman of Marquette and Donna Moen of Decorah; three brothers, art of Waukon, Walter of Postville and Joe of Sandy, Utah; and two sisters, Margaret Hawk of Florida and Marion McGraw of Charlotte, N.C.
