Waukon - Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Ferdinand Buege, 65, who died Wednesday at Cascade, Ia., where she was visiting at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Phillips.

The rites were held at the Presbyterian Church, and burial was in the Smithfield Cemetery, Franklin township.

The former Florence Harris was born April 28, 1886, at Lenoir, N.C. Her parents died when she was a child and she moved to Iowa with relatives, who settled first at Luana. They later lived in Lansing and Waukon.

She married Ferdinand Buege March 9, 1912.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Harold Walters, Rossville, Mrs. Francis Huffman, Vinton, Mrs. Elmer Phillips, Cascade, and Mrs. Levi Johnson, Savanna, Ill.; and two sons, William, Waukon, and Ferdinand Buege, Jr., Hanover, Ill.
