Ann Hoksch, age 94, of Lansing, died Sunday, November 2, 2003, at her home in Lansing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 11, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing with Fr. Daniel Knipper officiating. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery, Lansing. Thornburg Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Ann was born in Zeeland, North Dakota, March 12, 1909, to Peter and Katherine (Schumacher) Feist. On February 18, 1933, she married Orville Hoksch in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Ann attended church faithfully and enjoyed gardening, cooking, cards, and Bingo. She is survived by four children, Orville (Evelyn) Hoksch of Rochester Hills, Mich., James (Dorothy) Hoksch of Pittsburg, Texas, Shirley (Bill) Boardman of West Chester, Ohio, and Robert (Lorraine) Hoksch of Johnston, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, on November 23, 1984; and six siblings, Magdaline, Barbara, Joseph, Elizabeth, John, and Katherine. Casketbearers were George Ferring, Robert Ferring, Robert Teff, Orlyn Hoksch, Alan Wick, and Loren Fimian.
