Richard "Dick" Keith Aschom, 73, of Brookfield, Wisconsin passed into eternal life on January 9, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Services were held January 14, 2015 in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Richard was born on April 24, 1941 at Waukon, Iowa to Norbert J. "Nubbs" Aschom and Catherine (Hawkins) Aschom. Dick attended St. George High School in Lansing, Iowa. He was the manager of Midwest Audio Visual Equipment in Chicago, Illinois for many years. After retirement, he spent time doing the things he loved: fishing, golfing and living life to the fullest with his beloved wife, Barbara.

Dick is survived by his two sons, Stephen (Mary) Aschom of Chicago, Illinois and Christopher (Donna) Aschom of San Francisco, California; a daughter, Melissa of Chicago, Illinois; two granddaughters Deanna and Nicole and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Norb (Nancy) Aschom of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Mickey (Marion) Aschom of Rushford, Minnesota; three sisters, Kathy Christopherson of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Susan (Roger) Ekern of Rushford, Minnesota, and Julie (Greg) Buel of Punta Gorda, Florida; as well as 13 nieces and nephews and their families.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Clark.
