Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, 1:00 p. m.
St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Postville for Harry D. Reinhardt, 78, who passed away at Postville Hospital following an illness of several weeks.
The Rev. C. E. Witt was in charge of the rites. Burial was in Postville cemetery.

Harry D. Reinhardt was born in Farmersburg township, Clayton county, Iowa on July 23, 1879, the son of Dietrich Reinhardt and his wife Caroline Schlueter Reinhardt.
He was baptized in the Lutheran Church at Clayton Center on February 23, 1880 and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at National on October 23, 1892, He passed away at the Postville Hospital on May 5, 1958, at the age of 78 years, nine months and 12 days. He was married to Martha Duwe on November 21, 1901.

To this union were born three children. Hattie, Mrs. Arbe Rose of Postville; Amanda, Mrs. Elmer Schultz of Castalia; and Alma, Mrs. Paul Willman of Frankville. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Frank of Postville; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bugenhagen of Cresco and Mrs. Louisa Weller of McGregor.

Surviving him are his wife, three daughters, one sister, Mrs. Fred Miene presently living in Eldorado, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Reinhardt moved to the Postville area in 1900, where he
farmed until he moved to town in 1929. He was engaged as a painter for a number of years.
He had been a patient at the Postville Hospital for three weeks, following a fall and a broken hip.
