Mrs. Bridget Collins died at her home on Collins Ridge, on Tuesday May 12th.

Deceased was one of the pioneers of this township, and shared with her husband, (who died about 5 years go,) all the hardships of itenerant (sic) life, and possessed all the qualities essential to be a good christian wife, mother and neighbor.

She passed her latter days with her son, Michael, at the homestead, where, with a model husband, she had passed the prime of her life, and had reared a large family, who are of the best of our citizens.

Her mortal remains were laid to rest in the Wexford cemetery on the 15th, followed to her last resting place by a large concourse of friends who paid the last tribute to one of Taylor township's most exemplary and respected matrons.
