Waukon- Services were to be held at the Martin Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon for David M. Knopf, 74, who died Monday at a La Crosse hospital.

Knopf was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Knopf and was born at Baden, Germany, June 20, 1876. The family came to America in 1881, settling at Lansing, and later moving to Waukon. He married Emma Greiser May 1, 1906, who survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Elsie Knopf, Waukon; and Mrs. Walter Hewitt of Davenport; and three sons, Paul, Waukon; David, Decorah; and Walter, Davenport.
