Funeral services were held at Austin, Minnesota, last Wednesday morning for Lucy Stockman, former Postville resident, who passed away May 29.
Miss Lucy Stockman was born in Postville, October 7, 1887, and passed away May 29, at St. Olaf Hospital after a lingering illness.
The funeral, in charge of the Mayer Funeral Home, was held Wednesday morning at Queen of Angels Church with Father Cunningham officiating.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Brown of Austin and Mrs. Kate Borman of Columbus, Nebraska, and three brothers, Ed of Alpine, California, Will of Postville, Gilbert of West Union and a brother-in-law, Henry Koevenig of Postville, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives attending the funeral were Will Stockman and Henry Koevenig of Postville, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Stockman of West Union, Joe Koevenig, J. E. Welsch and Janette Edison of Albert Lea, Ethel and Mildred Stewart and Thomas Edison of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stewart of Evan, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Edison and Mrs. Anna Brown of Austin.
