Waukon, Ia., Oct. 31 - The body of Loretta May Wittilinger (sic), who died at midnight Tuesday night at her home in Chicago, arrived here Thursday morning accompanied by the parents and was taken to the home of relatives, the Jehiel Johnson family.

Loretta May was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wittilinger (sic), former Waukon residents, but now of Chicago. She was born Aug. 3, 1918, at Waukon, and resided here with her parents up to several years ago, when the family moved to Chicago. She had been ill for several weeks with heart trouble and succumbed to an attack of pneumonia.

Besides her grief-stricken parents she is survived by a younger brother, George, Jr., and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Wittilinger (sic), also of Chicago, who accompanied the body here.

Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, a requiem high mass being celebrated by the pastor, Rev. J.C. Stuart. Burial was made in Mount Olivet cemetery.
