Melvin (Henderson) Dickson, age 84, died peacefully at her home Sunday, October 19, 2003. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Waukon. A memorial has been established. Melva was born March 15, 1919, in the Waterville area. She was the daughter of Cullen and Elizabeth Henderson. Melva married Howard Dickson December 29, 1941. The couple raised their sons on the family farm. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Larry. Survivors include her husband, Howard, and four sons, Roger (Dianna) of Freeport, Ill., Kenneth (Sharon) of Appleton, Wis., Arden of Waukon, and Randy (Lois) of Middleton, Wis.
