Harpers Ferry- Carmelita C. Boots, 71, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, in her home after a sudden illness. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Mount Calvary Chapel, Dubuque. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Ann's - St. Joseph's Church Hall, Harpers Ferry, where a Scripture service will be held at 5 p.m.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Barnhart of Dubuque, Cindy Humphrey of Shullsburg, Wis., and Patty Hamilton of Wichita, Kan; and five sons, James Kinny of Boston, Mass., Michael Boots of Minneapolis, Kenneth Boots of Monona, Tom Boots of Harpers Ferry and Bob Boots of Wichita, Kan.
