Lansing, Ia., Oct. 13 - Funeral services were held here Saturday for James T. Metcalf, whose death took place at the home of his daughter in Washington, D.C., Monday. Mr. Metcalf, who was a resident of Lansing for many years, was editor of the "Lansing Mirror" while here and later, when he went to Washington to reside was a post office inspector and also served as superintendent of the money order department in Washington.
Surviving him are one daughter, three sons, one sister, who resides in New York, and one brother, George Metcalf of Lansing.
