Lansing- Charles H. Hammon, 65, of rural Lansing, died Tuesday in his home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, with military rites by Lansing and Waukon veterans. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen; two stepdaughters, Cathy Miller of Postville and Debbie Springman of Palo; two stepsons, Kevin Honn of Center Point and Steven Honn of Louisiana; and a sister, Lula Barth of Independence.
