Waukon, Ia. - Mrs. Jake Iseli, 27, was found dead by her husband in the farm home eight miles southeast of Waukon at noon Saturday. She had been ill for several weeks.
She was a graduate of the Waukon High school and up until her marriage in March, 1943, was director of relief in the Allamakee county relief office.
Mrs. Iseli was born in Waukon, June 22, 1917, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Rumpf, who besides her husband and a brother, Theodore Rumpf, Jr., stationed at Camp Campbell in Kentucky, survive her.
The body is at the Martin Brothers funeral home. No arrangements for the funeral have been made. Following the finding of the body, Deputy Sheriff Bob Water and County Coroner Dr. C.C. Boyden were called. No inquest will be held.

~Notes: She is buried in the Lansing Ridge cemetery. As recorded in the 'Woodmansee' cemetery book, her dates are July 22, 1917-Sept 16, 1944. It is unknown by the contributor if the correct month of birth is June (obit) or July (Woodmansee).
