Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 1:30 p.m. for William F. Willman at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. The Rev. Norman Ullestad officiated. Mr. Willman died at the Good Samaritan Center, Postville, Oct. 7.

William Willman, son of Paul and Mary Krie Willman, was born in Clayton county on January 12, 1875. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church, September 28, 1898. He married Emma M. Oldag and the couple recently observed their 74th anniversary. They had four children.

The couple farmed in the Postville area until 33 years ago when they moved to Postville.

Mr. Willman was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; four children, Mrs. Ervin (Bertha) Dickman, Mrs. Victor (Emma) Meyer, Mrs. Eldo (Verla) Schutte and Paul. There are also nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Rudy of Postville; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Kline, Fort Dodge, many nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
