PERKINS, CLARK, BOLLMAN

Collista Adelaide Clark Perkins was born in Allamakee County, Iowa, October 20, 1858, a daughter of John R. and Maria Clark. She passed away February 19, 1938 at the home of her daughter, Mrs I. S. Bollman with whom she has made her home the past fifteen years.

On September 17, 1884 she was united in marriage with James O. Perkins, who passed away at their home at Forest Mills in April 1914.

Mr. and Mrs. Perkins were the parents of one daughter, Mrs Edna Bollman, She also raised from infancy and cared for as her own child, Roy Clark, now at Clinton, Minnesota and Andy Clark at Waukon, who loved her as a mother.

Mrs. Perkins had been in ill health for some time and the past several months has been confined to her bed. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins spent all their life on a farm near Forest Mills and many years ago both united with the United Brethern church at that place.

She is survived by her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Bollman, seven grand children, one great grandchild and Roy and Andy Clark, also a brother Delbert T. Clark at Ashville, N.Y.

Funeral services were held at the Schultz Funeral home at Monona, Monday February 21. Services were conducted by Rev. G.W. Turner, pastor of the M.E.church. Interment was in the Smithfield cemetery by the side of her husband. Casket bearers were Ed. O'Brien, A.J. Oelberg, A.I Powell, Dell Rose, William Powell and J.H. McShane.
