Lansing, Ia. - Word was received Tuesday of the death at Berkley, Calif., of Rudolph Bauman, 80, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bauman of Lansing.

He was born at Lansing Feb. 3, 1859. He was a retired railroad man and had resided there for three years, moving from Avoca.

He is survived by a son and three daughters; 11 brothers and sisters, Mrs. William Lenz, Mrs. Katie Marti, Ada, Freda and Fremont, all of Lansing; the Rev. Benjamin Bauman of Winthrop, the Rev. G.B. Bauman of Traynor, Mrs. Frank Busse of Avoca, Arthur and Herman, both of Gregory, S.D., and Manuel of Mason City.

Funeral and burial will be at Berkley.
