Funeral services for Milton J. Anderson, 72, of Waukon, were held Wednesday, February 24, 11 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon. Rev. Lynn Groe officiated. Burial was in Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Cemetery. Martin Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Milton, son of Marcus and Mabel Sorum Anderson, was born May 2, 1915 in Makee Township, Allamakee County. He died February 22, 1988 at home.

He received his education in rural Allamakee County Schools. He married Betty Schlee November 19, 1953 at Ocean Beach, California.

He was a lifetime area resident and worked as a truck driver for Equity Co-Op Oil Co., an independent milk hauler and drove a van for TASC.

Survivors are his children, George Edward, Alburnett; Michael, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Edward (Mary) Hawes, Waukon; a brother Arlando, Waukon.

Pallbearers: Jim Schlee, William Schlee, Richard Schlee, Wilbur Marti, Harold Severson and Bill Roe, Sr.
