Lansing, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Rosana Burns, 88, were held at the Immaculate Conception Church at Wexford Friday with the Rev. Louis White officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Burns died Tuesday at the home of her son, Thomas in LaCrosse, following a long illness.

As Mary Rose Hurm, she was born in Taylorville, Ohio, and she came to Lansing Township with her parents at an early age. She was married to Thomas Burns on Dec. 8, 1867. He died 54 years ago.

Surviving are three of her eight children: Mrs. Thomas Keller and Mrs. Adolph Mathis, both of Lansing; and Thomas of LaCrosse; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Guider; and one brother, John Hurm of Sand Point, Ida.; 36 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
