MORGAN, KELLY, BARENSHEER, DEARTON

New Albin, Ia. - Funeral services for Bernard J. Morgan, 73, were held here Monday at St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. L.L. Hayes, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Leo Blocker, Edward Kelly, Edward Kinney, M.E. Donovan, Martin Moore, and Earl Welsh.

Mr. Morgan died Friday at the John W. Kelly home here following a brief illness of pneumonia. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Morgan and was born Dec. 25, 1869 on a farm in Allamakee County. Since his retirement from the farm, he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Kelly. He never married.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Herman Barensheer of Pasadena, Calif. and Mrs. Laurence Dearton of Maza, N.D. His sister, Mrs. Kelly, died March 14, 1943. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
