Although in failing health for the past couple of years or so, the Angel of Death called Miss Ottillie Amelia Raddatz to her Eternal Reward, Monday, Jan. 10th, at the Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, where she had been a patient with an incurable disease, the past month or more.

She was born January 9th, 1900 in Iowa township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Raddatz, and was 44 years and 1 day old at the time of her death. She was educated int he rural schools of this community, which has always been her home except for a short time spent at Fond du Lac, Wis. Survivors include her aged father and her brother Emil at home and where she will be sadly missed as a loving daughter and sister; two brothers, Otto of Ellensburg, Wash., and Karl, of Forest Grove, Oregon, neither of whom were able to attend the funeral services. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1924, and two sisters.

The funeral services will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon from the Fitschen Funeral Parlors in New Albin, at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. P.H. Franzmeier officiating and saying the prayers at the graveside. Burial will be in the New Albin Cemetery and casket bearers the following six life long friends: Adolph Rudnick, Lawrence Bakewell, John Love, Nick Colsch, Albert Meyer and Elmer Lenz.

We desire to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the many neighbors and friends for their acts of kindness and sympathy extended to us during our recent bereavement, the death of our beloved daughter and sister.
