Waukon, Ia. - The funeral of Mrs. William Waldron, 79, was held here Friday morning at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. E.J. McDonald, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Lycurgus.

Mrs. Waldron died Wednesday at her home here following a several weeks' illness.

As Margaret Sweeney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Sweeney, she was born Nov. 27, 1860, at Galena, Ill. When a young girl, she accompanied her parents to Allamakee County, the family settling on a farm in Makee Township. She was married Nov. 24, 1887 to Mr. Waldron, since which time the home had been made in this vicinity.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Leo Olson of Waukon, Mrs. Joe Walsh of French Creek Township, and Mrs. William Schlueter and Mrs. Stella Ryan, both of Minneapolis; two sons, James of Waukon and Frank of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Coyle and Mrs. William McCormack, both of Waukon; a brother, Peter Sweeney of Waukon; 23 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
